At the official sod turning ceremony held on 17 July 2012 for the 46,000sqm head office campus, customer walk in centre, data/IT centre and warehouse for Cell C at Waterfall Business Estate, developed by Atterbury.

In 2008, Atterbury secured the commercial development rights for 330 ha of prime land north of Sandton. Waterfall Business Estate, is in total a staggering 1,6 million square metre mixed-use commercial development – the most ambitious of its kind being undertaken in South Africa.

The Cell C development includes offices, distribution warehouse and customer care centre, and will also result in improved road infrastructure in the area. The premises are scheduled for Cell C’s occupation at the end of 2013, on a 15 year lease. The development also offers Cell C some 14,000sqm of future development potential.
