The new office integrates BASF’s global workplace guidelines, ensuring consistency with its international real estate and facility management standards. The design prioritises flexibility, sustainability and employee experience, aligning with BASF’s core values of creativity, openness, responsibility and entrepreneurship.

A design rooted in brand identity

Trend Group’s design approach incorporates BASF’s distinct brand colours, creating a vibrant yet grounded environment. At reception, blue dominates, while accents of green, yellow and red add rhythm and vitality. These colours subtly define different zones, balancing energy with a neutral foundation and natural materials.

The result is a space that reflects BASF’s global identity while maintaining a human scale. The design ensures a confident first impression and a welcoming atmosphere for employees and visitors alike.

Supporting hybrid work with smart spatial planning

The office layout embraces activity-based hybrid working, a key trend in modern workplace design. Open-plan workstations are complemented by enclosed meeting rooms, acoustic call pods, touchdown areas and social spaces. This mix supports a variety of work modes, from focused tasks to collaborative projects.

Non-dedicated workstations enable a flexible hot-desking environment, supported by plug-and-play infrastructure. The canteen serves as a social hub, with diverse seating arrangements encouraging informal interactions and connections.
