The San Sereno retirement community in Bryanston, which was recently relaunched as a continuing care Senior Living community for over 70’s has won second place in two categories in the 6th annual US-based Senior Housing (SHN) architecture and Design Awards, in the “International” and “Renovation and Repositioning” categories.
SHN architecture and Design Awards recognize cutting – edge design, excellence and innovation in senior living. More than 100 senior living communities from around the globe submitted new construction and renovation projects vying for top honours in nine different award categories.

San Sereno offers one-, two- and three-bedroom residences on a life rights basis. All are fitted with solar geysers, garages and balconies or gardens with views over the 13.5 hectares of garden. The community offers multiple dining options, a host of entertainment and activities as well as wellness and care facilities which ensure complete peace of mind for residents and their families.
The community offers an assisted living centre and Auria Senior Living is currently building a dementia centre in response to increasing demand for specialist memory care facilities.
