SpaghettiWall’s immersive Eden at Milan Design Week

Milan Design Week 2026, taking place from 20-26 April, is set to captivate design enthusiasts with its innovative installations, and SpaghettiWall is at the forefront with its participation in the award-winning project, ‘A Table for Two’. This installation, showcased at Le Stanze showroom in the Durini Design District, is the result of a creative collaboration between SpaghettiWall, Ferroluce, and Innova Imbottiti, brought to life by StudioCavallo21.
Inspired by temptation
The concept, designed by Mirco Cavallo and Matteo Verardo of StudioCavallo21, draws inspiration from the archetypal Eden and the first human encounter. The installation narrates a poetic story of temptation and original sin, with a single red apple under dramatic lighting as its focal point. A snake silhouette winds across the floor, symbolising the narrative’s fulcrum, while dense vegetation, bold colours and textured surfaces create an immersive sensory experience.
Throwing spaghetti against the wall
SpaghettiWall’s customisable, high-performance decorative wallpapers play a pivotal role in this installation. Known for their non-toxic, PVC-free and innovative designs, SpaghettiWall’s wallpapers enhance the visual drama of the space. The brand’s philosophy of iterative experimentation, akin to ‘throwing spaghetti against the wall’, ensures that every design solution is both unique and impactful.
The SpaghettiWall Milan Design Week installation also features a hanging armchair, symbolising the tree of knowledge, and a cohesive interplay of surfaces, furnishings and lighting that heightens the visual and emotional impact. This intimate dining room is not just a design marvel but also a hospitality-focused narrative that invites visitors to reflect on the themes of temptation and connection.
