Plascon Professional unveils new identity and redesigned product packaging

The new Professional range packaging has been beautifully redesigned to feature the Plascon logo, sleek vertical lines, and a range of abstract graphic icons to distinguish the product categories of Preparation Coats, Wall Coats, Textured Coats and Trim Coats.

Plascon Professional takes an up-to-the-minute approach to its offering for construction and architectural professionals. Now boasting fresh packaging and an updated brand identity, the new face of Plascon Professional is still just as easy to recognise.

The new Professional range packaging has been beautifully redesigned to feature the Plascon logo, sleek vertical lines, and a range of abstract graphic icons to distinguish the product categories of Preparation Coats, Wall Coats, Textured Coats and Trim Coats. It will be gradually phased into the market.

The streamlined new identity also draws inspiration from elements of the working environment of professionals. The redesign pays homage to the cityscapes, architectural details and industrial signage that are unique to the trade.

It is important to note that the product description of Professional Waterproofing Compound will be changed to Professional Bridging Compound. The product code will remain as PWC520, so it will still be easily identifiable. However, the specification and data sheet will be updated.

The Plascon Professional brand is not the only one receiving a makeover – Plascon’s 360° Partnership Pledge has also undergone a logo redesign.

With Plascon’s 360° Partnership Pledge, the client receives an array of benefits, including Plascon Consultants paying regular visits to sites to monitor application accuracy against the specification, the delivery of comprehensive reports, and issuing of a quality assurance guarantee. Plascon will also assist with colour renderings, wet samples and A4 brushouts to make colour selection easier.

The comprehensive service is available for projects awarded to a Plascon Preferred Applicator and where the paint value exceeds R250 000. These projects are awarded a Kansai Plascon quality assurance guarantee, covering both product and application in the event of proven product failure. “We are involved from inception to completion, making sure the right coating system is specified according to the environment and condition of the building substrates,” explains Plascon Professional Market Manager, Carol Ras.

Focused on the clear goal to create long-lasting, integrity-based relationships, as well as communicating the unique professional environment, Plascon is proud to share the Professional range’s robust yet refined new look with the trade.
