For centuries, Spain’s Crema Marfil marble has reigned as one of the most renowned natural beige marbles globally. Quarried from the mountainous Monte Coto region in eastern Spain, Crema Marfil marble is a testament to nature’s ability to craft enduring beauty under immense heat and pressure.

Crema Marfil’s signature pale tones and delicate marbling inspired Spanish tile maker Halcon’s creation of the Atenea porcelain tile series, which features subtle cinnamon veining to replicate the texture of natural marble. The tiles’ reflective tones amplify natural light, creating a sense of spaciousness.

The impressive craftsmanship of the Atenea range lies in its rectified finish, which ensures that every tile edge is mechanically cut with precision. These uniform dimensions allow for minimal grout lines (approximately 1,5mm or less) offering a sleek, seamless and modern aesthetic and a continuous tiled finish that enhances the feeling of spaciousness.

Each tile measures 1200×1200 in size with a sturdy thickness of 9,5mm, making it suitable for both wall and floor installations. The range is available in two tones: Warm Beige and Delicate Pale Ivory, both of which feature subtle shade differences between tiles, amplifying their natural look. Atenea tiles have a matte finish, giving a satin gleam that exudes understated luxury.
